Chat Punishments
The below punishments are given for all rules EXCEPT for rules that are instant permanent mutes (Can be found underneath the rules description).

• 1st Offense - 24 hour Mute
• 2nd Offense - 7 day Mute
• 3rd Offense - 30 day Mute
• 4th Offense - Permanent Mute

Warnings
A staff member may choose to give a warning for a first offense or even if you have not committed an offense in a while. Do NOT ask to receive a warning instead, staff members are trained to handle situations and will give warnings at their own discretion.

Accomplice Liability
Assisting a player who has broken the rules whilst being aware of it and not reporting them will issue the same penalty to you.

• Buying spawners from someone who uses x-ray while knowing they use x-ray
• Getting together with a kill-aura hacker so you can win all PVP fights
• Allowing someone on your island to abuse a shop exploit and using it to your advantage
• Working together to exploit a duplication bug

Advertising
Mentioning a server name/IP or Discord with the intention to have others go there or to steal players. Also applies to private messages and Discord DMs. (Mentioning Hypixel and Wynncraft are exempt).

• 1st Offense - Permanent Mute

*Mentioning a server name without the intent to have others go there will result in a verbal warning from Staff members.*
*Staff determine the intent of mentioning a server or IP, if you disagree with a punishment given then you are welcome to Appeal.*

Spamming
Filling chat with any unwanted messages with the intention of disrupting the server. This includes command-spamming, asking for items/money, or any other form of repeated unwanted messages. Especially when towards another player.

*Command spam will result in a ban of the same duration, instead of a mute.*

Filter Evasion
Constantly and purposefully evading the swear filter by using symbols, shortened versions, or other methods.

Sexual Harassment
Making unwanted sexual advances or obscene remarks to another.

Hate Speech
Making inappropriate comments or being rude to people of certain races, sexual orientation, age, genders, or beliefs. Includes slurs.

Player/Staff Disrespect
Saying hurtful comments or excessively swearing to players or staff; questioning staff authority in a destructive way. Also includes protesting aggressively or making threats towards others.

Server Disrespect
Making rude, hateful, or otherwise obscene comments about the server, community, or otherwise causing issues with the server or community.

Arguing With Staff
Arguing with a staff member on a punishment, rules, or otherwise being disruptive when a staff member is doing their job. Staff do not need your attitude and/or entitled behavior while performing their duties, if you disagree with a punishment then open an appeal: https://www.voidrealms.org/appeal

Impersonation
Attempting to resemble a known player or staff member to mislead others or act as that role.

*Asking a player to stop within reason is allowed, if the person continues please open a Player Report.*

Drama
Being involved in any way in drama, except in the case of a completely innocent victim. Includes any kind of conflict that could've been easily solved through civil discussion; trying to purposely trigger another person, or asking staff the reasons for their actions. Complaining about the server and not taking the appropriate steps to report said complaints.

Trolling
Borderline harassing other people for one’s own amusement; breaking or pushing the rules to their limit, encouraging to break rules; making others’ time on the server less enjoyable.

*Trolling higher staff over false reports or wasting their time will result in a permanent mute.*

Inappropriate Chat
Making obscene, sexual, or otherwise incredibly inappropriate comments. These include inappropriate talk about covid, cancer, sexual assault, shootings, self-harm, and any other topic Staff decide is inappropriate.

Doxing
Sharing someone’s email, phone number, address, or any other social media/personal information without their permission.

Cheating
Any use of Hacked Clients, X-Ray, Cheat Mods, Ghost Clients, Macros, Afk Movements (Auto Mining, Fishing, Etc). These include Using a script, mod, keyboard/mouse weight, etc. to automatically gather resources or gain experience (This does not include harvesters or machines). The only exception is if you are using an AFK pool to simply load chunks.
Allowed Mod types:

• Performance, graphic, and aesthetic mods (including shaders and OptiFine);
• Armor, status, and HUD modifications that do not give a significant advantage;
• Health showing mods;
• Mini-maps that show the ground level (No players or caves);
• Recipe mods;
• Sprint toggle;

Any other category is not allowed. If you have any questions that you may be curious about, please contact staff via a General Support ticket. Responsibility for using these are completely on the player, not all staff will be on the same page if contacted directly, you are REQUIRED to reach out via a support ticket.

Disallowed Mod types:

• Automated movements (walking, fighting, aiming, fishing, mining, etc.);
• Vision enhancements (x-ray, trackers, tracer, wallhack, full-bright, etc.);
• Fighting cheats (anti-knockback, bunny-hop, kill-aura, etc.);
• Spoofing cheats (ping spoof);
• VPN, Proxy, or other connection modifications;
• Macro keys, for example, 1 button press to instantly type an entire command or message;
• Using two mice because you can "click faster";
• Keys to run multiple mouse clicks with one press;
• Unplugging your Mouse/Keyboard to automate an action;
• Hardware abuse to generate beyond normal actions of the hardware;
• Weights/Taped down buttons;

The use of third-party software that gives a significant advantage to anyone is also strictly forbidden. This includes the use of macros or hotkeys that trigger automated clicks or movements on a more than 1-to-1 ratio (1 input = 1 output).

DDOS
DDOS Threats: Threatening to overload another player's internet or the server.

• 1st Offense - Permanent Mute

DDOS Actions: Overloading the server or another player's internet.

• 1st Offense - Permanent IP Ban

Exploiting
Using a server or minecraft bug, glitch, or unintended feature to your advantage. Includes sharing exploits (in-game or anywhere else) with non-staff and/or not reporting known exploits. This includes mass-selling high price items at unintended prices.

Alternate Accounts
Each person on an IP address is allowed 2 accounts, if you have siblings we will check that all accounts are actively playing. We are not responsible for keeping track of accounts, if you have an alt you are welcome to notify staff about it. Alternate accounts are NOT allowed to be used to gain an advantage on any mode (ex: Having extra minions, bypassing bans). (Alternate accounts are instantly perm banned)

Server Disruption
Disrupting the flow of the server and causing other players to experience lag. This rule is mostly intended to prevent lag machines but can be expanded to similarly problematic situations.

Griefing/Stealing
Modifying another player’s Claim/Island/Town (claimed or unclaimed) without permission. This includes stealing items, killing others mobs, claiming near another person's base, and griefing unclaimed areas where a player is working. If the player was trusted by the claim owner then they will be given a chance to return said items for the first offense.

*This rule does not apply to Kingdoms.*

Terrain Griefing
Please if you are mining resources from the surface (dirt, stone, grass, sand, gravel etc) make the place look at least decent, if you are cutting down trees then cut down the whole tree, etc. For the End and Nether please do the same and keep their surfaces looking nice. This does not apply to the Resource World or Kingdoms.

Scamming
Lying or misleading a player into giving you what you want at their expense.

*Staff members will first give the scammer a chance to give items back.*

Attempted Killing
Killing other players with tpa traps, lava, fire, etc. This includes nether portal trapping.

Inappropriate Username / Cape / Skin / Builds
Username, Skin, or Cape: Using any of these that are deemed to be inappropriate by a staff member (genitals, Nazi symbol, inappropriate references, etc.).

• 1^st Offense - Permanent ban until changed

Build: Building something that is deemed to be outrageous, obscene, political, or unethical by a staff member.

• Follows the normal punishment structure.
  

Trolling
Violating a player’s rights or personal space and not stopping a behavior when asked to.
